Transformation, over the last year especially, has become a byword for HR. Whether the function is shifting most of its workforce to remote work, pivoting to become a communications lifebuoy during disruptive moments, or helping the executive to recreate organisational design so that it is future-ready, agile and flexible, the people function has, seemingly, been ready to throw off the shackles of past perception and change itself to help the business react and evolve as needed.
As this transformation for HR will likely keep gathering pace, it was only right that we too are evolved. In this edition of myGrapevine magazine – you will notice a change of name – there will be a more pointed focus on some of the strategic and leadership issues that HR is increasingly tasked with solving. Issues that are often indistinct from those that head up the executive agenda too. Going forward, this feature content will be useful for business leaders of all stripes, not just HR.
We have also made magazine features more browsable meaning you can easily go from reading the cover feature, this month about how Channel 4 ensures that employees are supported through change and transformation, to how ethical food brand THIS managed to drive growth despite a pandemic, and then jump to an exclusive interview with a Coca-Cola Director about how they are changing their approach to talent management. It’s all designed with you, the reader, in mind.
From the team here, we hope you get as much from these exclusive insights as much as we did when we go out to the market to interview transformative and leading voices from the world of HR and business leadership.
As ever, stay safe and enjoy.
