Vicki Field,
HR Director

Looking back at your time with the company, what are you most proud of?

Working with a young business is fantastic fun as it’s generally the opportunity to start with a blank sheet of paper and develop the building blocks for a great future. Whenever you look back at a business that started with just a few people and look at a bustling head office and ten clinics, it’s something for everyone involved to be proud of as we’ve all played a part in bringing it together.

What is the most exciting project you’re working on over the next 12 months?

We’re focussed on growth, and so my role is to look at ways to ensure we’re resourced and trained properly for the growth plans. I love our fast-moving and growing company, as I never have the same day twice and I have a number of projects underway all designed to support our growth from a people perspective.

What do you hope to achieve at London Doctors Clinic in the future?

My vision is for a great business with people at its heart – our patients and our team. My job is to ensure that we have the right people in the right positions and give each of our team members the opportunity to grow and develop their own skillsets.

What is your guiding philosophy for HR?

Be a partner to the leadership team and ensure that the HR strategy aligns entirely to the business strategy. Use data to inform strategy, so measure and monitor as much data as possible in order to most effectively manage the business. Also, remember the unique role we have in HR. We’re the trusted partner which means we are here to deliver the appropriate business solutions but we can also be the conscience of the business; we need to ensure everything is done in a way that keeps our credibility and builds a strong and positive culture.
