You would be forgiven for thinking that we’re already experiencing the peaks of a glorious spring, due to the weather that we’ve been having over the last week of February. Daffodils are out, crocuses are sprouting in parks, and I even saw a bee one bright Saturday afternoon. And, whilst there are (quite voracious) arguments about whether this is a result of man-made climate change or just an anomalous warm spell, the early sunshine will have got many in the springtime mood – a time when minds turn to renewal, the future, and change.

In our cover feature with Barclays, we press them on how hiring from all age demographics is boosting their business. There is also an article discussing the benefits of more traditi onal working patterns versus flexible or remote working. And, keeping on theme, there is a look at how the timeless human curiosity instinct can be utilised to find new business solutions.
As ever, stay safe and enjoy.
