Serco has announced a new social mobility initiative, helping people facing structural barriers to employment – including prison leavers, military veterans, and care leavers – to secure long-term careers.
Through ‘Believe in People,’ the outsourcing giant aims to offer more than 1 million skills development hours in 2026 alone, helping people build the capabilities they need to unlock job opportunities.
Shaun Stacey, Chief People and Culture Officer at Serco UK & Europe, said the company is transforming the lives of disadvantaged groups by “creating fair, supported and sustainable routes into work.”
