How will AI change the value of a cover letter?


Industry research states that on average recruiters spend 6-8 seconds looking at a CV so what hope is there for a bulky, text heavy cover letter? Not to mention, 84% of employers use social media to help recruit job applicants, so the cover letter seems quaint, an outdated document by comparison with its bulky text and sentences made up of more than six words.
