Revolut's tech-powered work revolution

Technology has a been a central topic for employers and HR in the last year and a half. From using tech to conduct meetings virtually to keeping staff engaged with online initiatives, tech has played a huge role in keeping businesses up and running.
During this period, HR has also relied heavily on technology – data from Personio found that, since the pandemic, 44% of HR decision-makers have seen an increase in the number of digital tools they use for people-related tasks – to carry out usual areas of the function’s remit including inclusion, recruitment, engagement and wellbeing. And with more employers exploring digital-first futures – and many adopting remote or hybrid working structures – tech will continue to play an important role in keeping staff and the business connected.
To explore how firms have used and are using technology in the workplace, in this issue of myGrapevine magazine we asked our advisory board how to create a good virtual employee experience, as well as interviewing the Vice President HR at Kellogg Europe about their approach to virtual inclusion during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, for this issue’s cover story, we interviewed Revolut’s VP of People about how they’re heading into the future with digital work.
As ever, we hope you find this content thought-provoking and useful when navigating HR best practice.
