Most of us voted yesterday, the results are in and that’s it? Yeah? Well, not quite…
Current – though for how long? – Prime Minister Theresa May lost her majority and the Labour Party gained 31 seats. This means there’s a hung Parliament with no political party having a majority.
At the time of writing this article, the Democratic Unionists are looking like they will form a coalition Government with the Conservatives, but they will want a favourable post-Brexit deal that will, The Guardian reports, not de-couple Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK or keep them half-way inside the European Union.
However, given the nature of politics, this could all have changed by the time you read this. What won’t change is the poll we conducted yesterday, asking how you would vote.
