Workplaces have seen a dramatic shift, showcased with the rise of collaborative spaces to office-come-play areas to people actually forking out to work in restaurants.

We asked industry experts if investing in glamorous offices is a worthwhile investment or just another HR fad that will come and go as quick as that cafetière of premium coffee…

Chris Morling, Managing Director of money.co.uk, who recently transformed an old castle into a fun office space with the help of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, said that the revamp has had an impact on different levels.

“The first is the positive vibe you get from working in an environment so colourful, vibrant and fun - you can’t help but look around and smile,” he tells us. “The second has had the most day-to-day impact, and that’s the way in which the changes have helped us to work more effectively as a team.
