European Court of Justice: Employers can now ban headscarves at work

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that employers are now able to ban employees from wearing Islamic headscarves in work – the BBC reports.

The ban comes as part of a move which stops workers from the "visible wearing of any political, philosophical or religious sign", in order to enforce employees to “dress neutrally”.
