The HR sphere is full of theories that, apparently, hold the key to increased job satisfaction and higher productivity – but this latest one, by the Swedes again, may prove tricky for HR to prove the ROI for.
Late last month a Swedish politician, Per Erik Muskos, proposed sex breaks at work during a council meeting. He reasoned that it is good for both physical wellbeing (exercise) and mental health (the neurological release of oxytocin and serotonin). He also said that current employee exercise breaks can be amended, so there will be no extra cost put on the employer for this.
