How to... make your talent acquisition process more strategic

Following Britain’s decision to leave the EU, attracting lucrative talent to an organisation is becoming increasingly difficult.

Furthermore, with Millennial’s entering the workforce, loyalty to one organisation is fast becoming a distant memory.

According to a 2017 Deloitte Survey, 38% of Millennials plan to leave their current workplace within two years. However, 31% plan to stay beyond five years - an increase from 2016, where the percentage stood at 27%.

There’s a difference between just hiring to fill a gap and the acquisition of talent; the latter being more valuable to the business, the external talent market and how their hiring strategy may need to adapt, according to Christine Chenneour, Talent Director - EMEA at Cornerstone OnDemand.
