Last week, England Women’s Manager, Mark Sampson was sacked after historic allegations, regarding his tenure as Bristol Academy Manager, came to the fore.
Sampson is also being investigated, for a third time, over claims of discrimination, racism and bullying from two separate England players. Whilst it is Sampson’s reputation, and potentially career, in the dock, The FA, Sampson’s ex-employers, are also on ‘trial’ - so to speak.
This is why ELAS Employment Law Consultant, Enrique Garcia, says it is vital that allegations of discrimination are taken seriously – lest employers suffer a fallout similar to the one the FA are currently experience.
