Initially, Logan, the latest and last instalment in the X-Men film series, doesn’t appear to hold any obvious lessons for HR.

In fact, Logan - played by an aging but nevertheless thick-armed and barrel-chested Hugh Jackman – regularly uses his in-body knuckle-blades to rearrange the faces and body parts of his enemies.

Whilst HR might not be used to dealing with any blade wielding employees, doesn’t their remit cover mitigating against general health and safety, as well as wellness shortfalls?
