Wellness is a buzzword that became one of 2016’s terms of the year – and the trends it sparked have continued well into 2017.
Whether its matcha smoothies after the pre-work run, yoga classes at lunchtime or a high-protein post-gym dinner, wellness is the fad that’s got us dipping into our pockets to feel better.
Employers are getting involved too – focusing on compensation and benefits packages that include gym memberships, healthcare, dental care and flexible working hours to meet employee needs.
However, it does pose the question: with so much focus on physical and mental wellbeing, are companies doing enough to teach financial wellbeing to their staff?
