Change is constant | How Edgewell is building a skills taxonomy that survives the future

Employers expect 39% of workers' core skills to change by 2030, according to the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, and the question of how organisations should first categorise and then deploy those skills, has rarely been more pressing.

For those businesses which have been through a separation, an acquisition, or a wholesale regional redraw (or all three inside a decade) the challenge only compounds.

HR Grapevine spoke with Gurinder Sagoo, HR Director (Europe and Oceania) at Edgewell Personal Care, about designing capability through corporate separation, developing her team’s digital skillset, and how flat organisation is delivering development without the requisite budget.
