McLaren Racing will once again run a training and mentorship programme for aspiring young women in STEM, offering 25 applicants a “once-in-a-lifetime” learning experience.
In a statement, McLaren said the scheme will continue to “break down barriers and increase representation by creating meaningful opportunities for young women.”
The NEXT programme will return in September 2026, offering a mixture of personalised mentoring, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to build transferable skills.
What is McLaren’s NEXT programme?
The NEXT programme was launched in 2025 as a development of 60 Scholars, an earlier scheme which offered a placement to sixty students aged between 18 and 25 seeking a career in STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics.)
