Nearly 400 companies from across the UK have been punished by the government after failing to pay the national minimum wage – including the likes of KPMG, Quorn, and Costa.

The Department for Business and Trade named and shamed 389 employers, with an estimated 60,000 workers missing out on £7.3million in wages.

Those featured in the list have been forced to correct the underpayments, ensuring workers are properly compensated, and have been issued with roughly £12.6million in further penalties.

Who failed to pay workers minimum wage?

Norwich City FC, Bupa, Hays Travel, Hovis, and Harvey Nichols were also among those named for failing to pay some workers the minimum wage.
