‘Paranoid’ | Google denies making female employee redundant for reporting sexual harassment

Google has been taken to a tribunal by a former employee who says she was made redundant after reporting a manager for sexual harassment.

Victoria Woodall, who served as a senior head in Google’s UK Sales and Agencies team, claimed she was targeted with a “relentless campaign of retaliation” after blowing the whistle on her colleague.

The manager was sacked by Google after an investigation found he had touched two female colleagues without consent and told clients stories about his sex life.

Google, however, denied Woodall’s accusations of retaliation and argued she was “paranoid” after reporting her concerns.
