An anonymous individual has claimed their employer, an unnamed bank, has ‘weaponised HR’ against its workforce.
Isabel Wills, writing under a pseudonym for eFinancialCareers, claimed that HR grievances are now increasingly seen as a “liability” at her firm, and detailed allegations of ineffective whistleblowing processes, retaliation, and sex-based discrimination.
The bank’s HR team have gone from a “trusted” partner earlier in Wills’ career to “gutless,” the individual said.
‘HR is a senior management weapon’
In the article titled “I work for a bank that's weaponized HR against its employees,” Wills claimed that her colleagues are not treated like human beings.
