Quite frankly she could have not wanted to speak at all.

But the fact she did – exclusively to HR Grapevine – and the fact she spoke so candidly, says something about her authenticity, and the ultimate message she wants to give the rest of the HR community: that now is not the time for HR to cower, but actually take the front foot.
