While major organisations across the globe including Meta, Google, and PepsiCo are ending diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) measures, Greenpeace UK is renewing its investment in improving ethnic representation within its workforce.
The environmental non-profit today announced a new set of diversity targets for 2030, aiming to “match the diversity” of London where its head office is situated, at “at every level of our organisation.”
Outlined in a statement shared with HR Grapevine, the “2030 Race & Ethnicity Representation Goals” include targets for 38.3% of Greenpeace UK staff to identify as people of colour and to close an ethnicity pay gap that currently stands at 5.6%.

Greenpeace UK stated its head office is located in “one of the most diverse, multicultural cities in the world,” offering “tremendous benefits” to its global campaigning efforts.
