British Library loses 'reasonable adjustments' tribunal after worker complains it was too noisy to work in

The British Library has lost a long-running employment tribunal in which a worker claimed the institution failed to give her a quiet space to work after she complained about noise levels.

Lidia Kogut, 45, won her lawsuit, which argued the UK’s National Library failed “to make a reasonable adjustment.”

According to the Daily Mail, the British Library is set to be fined a touch more than your average late return fee, with Kogut in line for a £7,500 payout.
