Earlier this week, professional services firm Grant Thornton UK LLP announced an astonishing £1million investment in a ‘data and digital mindset’ transformation programme.

The training is designed to equip employees with the “often unaddressed cultural mindset” they need to embrace digital innovation, a statement shared with HR Grapevine explained.

With such eyewatering budgets typically invested in ‘hard’ or ‘technical’ training schemes, where the return on investment is perhaps nominally more obvious, the programme marks a novel approach by Grant Thorton to bridge the data and digital skills gap facing UK employers.

What ‘data and digital mindset’ training is Grant Thorton offering?

Grant Thornton is partnering with the Data Literacy Academy to deliver the training programme. According to the initial statement, the £1million investment is “designed to empower its people to step into the future with a data-driven, digital mindset.”
