London voted one of the worst cities to live in - do employers have a responsibility to address this?

New research from PwC ranks London as the third worst city to live in the UK, behind Bradford and Middlesbrough.

The report evaluates cities across 12 key factors, including housing costs, safety, skills, work-life balance, income equality, employment opportunities, commute times, local shops, environmental quality, and business start-up activity, with London scoring poorly overall.

It’s obvious that London is a difficult city for its residents to live in for financial reasons, with the cost of renting, buying, and goods and services increasing significantly every year. And with the city being a hub for most global and national businesses, the recent report results might indicate that employers need to start paying attention to the wellbeing of their London-based employees.
