New research has shown a rise in online searches for breastfeeding rights in the workplace.
According to law firm Whitehead Monckton, online searches for ‘rights for breastfeeding working mothers’ have risen by 100% over the last three months and ‘breastfeeding rights at work’ has seen a 33% increase over the last 12 months.
In light of this, Antonio Fletcher, Whitehead Monckton’s Head of Employment, has shared his thoughts on why search queries have risen recently, and explained how employers can better support employees who are breastfeeding.
He believes that a growing number of companies introducing return-to-office policies may be part of the reason for the increase in search queries.
