There has been a rise in Brits planning to work abroad remotely in the near future without telling their employer, according to new research from MoneySupermarket.
The same research found that ‘work from anywhere’ policies, which enable employees to work from anywhere in the world, are more likely to retain top talent for longer.
It’s thought that roughly six million Brits plan to use their flexibility to work abroad without telling their employer and ‘work from anywhere’ searches have reportedly risen by 145% in the UK.
This research points to a growing desire from employees to have flexibility to work across borders, especially since new ‘digital nomad’ visas have come into play in many European countries.
