The Trades Union Congress (TUC) has accused the Government of “turning its back” on working people after ministers failed to include an Employment Bill in the Queen’s Speech.

Additionally, the trade union said that the Government’s ‘broken promise’ to boost workers’ rights would see “bad bosses celebrating”.

This news comes as on Tuesday (May 10, 2022) Prince Charles read the speech (on behalf of the Queen) as part of the formal state opening of Parliament.
