Over the years, there has been lots of talk about mentoring and the myriad of benefits that this can bring to both employees and businesses. One of these is around productivity levels.
In fact, data from MentorcliQ found that a whopping 88% of mentors and mentees agreed that their productivity or effectiveness increased due to their current mentoring experience.
On this backdrop, the Government is on the look out for lots of seasoned business leaders to volunteer to mentor the bosses of small companies, in a bid to help them to boost their productivity levels.

However, according to a recent article from The Times, it wants to move away from paying advisors to provide ten hours of mentoring to 9,000 business owners every year to an unpaid, voluntary basis.
