The last 24 months has been tumultuous for organisations, businesses, employees, and society, as a whole.
Professionals have been launched into the greatest workplace experiment in a century; things that seemed unthinkable only a short couple of years ago are now not only possible but have become the essential and the norm.
It’s safe to say that the ‘sacred cows’ of work and workplace, time, and location, physical and virtual, all have been challenged in an effort to get things done during a crisis.
However, amongst the tumult, many have found a sense of relief as they finally got what they have been asking for, flexibility and the creation of a role that works for them and their life situation. For others, the unintended consequences have been cruel.
