After almost two years of remote working, many workers who were relishing the return to their offices will undoubtedly feel deflated at once again having to turn their spare room or kitchen table into a makeshift office.

And this move back to WFH poses real risks to staff engagement and performance, at what can be many firms’ busiest time of the year. Similarly, it’s possible that employees’ attention will turn to Christmas shopping, decorating their homes and getting in food and drink for the festive period.
