What HR can learn from International Happiness At Work Week

International Happiness At Work Week is in full swing and, with the events of the past year and a half still raw, the importance of workplace wellbeing has never been more apparent.

During the week-long campaign, from September 20-27, firms across the globe are invited to put the topic atop their agenda and start to make the change to a happier workplace.

“The International Week of Happiness at work is not owned by anyone, nor are there any rules or do’s and don’ts. It is a Do-It-Yourself movement”, its website states.

Originally a Dutch initiative founded by Maartje Wolff and Fennande van der Meulen in 2017, the first International Week of Happiness at Work took place in 2018.
