'Life has come full circle' | Why Taco Bell hiring Lil Nas X as 'Chief Impact Officer' may be a genius move

US food chain Taco Bell made headlines this week for confirming that it has hired its first ever ‘Chief Impact Officer’. This is a role that has been gaining traction over the past months due to Royal Prince Harry taking on the title at start-up BetterUp.

Whilst Taco Bell wasn’t able to bag a royal to take the position, it has reportedly continued the trend of appointing a celebrity to the position in hiring rapper Lil Nas X – himself an ex-Taco Bell employee, prior to gaining worldwide notoriety with his hit single ‘Old Town Road’.

“Lil Nas X knows the job, the experience and the culture Taco Bell creates for its fans — including its people,” Taco Bell CEO Mark King said via Daily News.

“Life has come full circle, I officially work at Taco Bell again," Lil Nas X exclaimed in a tweet.
