In fact, according to recent data from Office National Statistics (ONS), more than 25% of employees currently work from home, whilst around one-quarter of businesses (24%) say that they plan to boost homeworking opportunities in the future. 

Of course, this will only be possible with digital tools – but these tools don’t just exist in order for business to complete tasks remotely. 

New technology will continue to proliferate in all areas that HR owns – from health and safety to wellbeing and to skills acquisition too.
