  • Jess Brammar, the apparent frontrunner for a prime executive position at the BBC, the role of executive news editor, is no longer being considered for the job following the discovery of historically biased and anti-Government tweets.

  • Brammar deleted more than 90,000 tweets dating back to 2009 – yet, as with all content published on most major sites, these are still visible on several other websites.

  • But are leaders simply expected not to be opinionated, either inside or outside of work? 

Over the course of the last year, people have relied on the power of the internet and digital comms to connect with others, to share their insight and, of course, to work.
