Diversity has been in the news again of late. Rightly so.
The Guardian reporting found that the pandemic had disproportionately affected black workers during the pandemic – with more than 40% unemployed, three times worse than white workers of the same age.
Additionally, there were many challenges to a recent report from the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities – with critics using the moment to argue that structural and institutional discrimination still exists, and there needs to be more done to combat it.
