Employee wellbeing has been high up on the agenda for HR throughout the coronavirus crisis.
As a result, many firms have rolled out initiatives and support to help employees who have been forced to work from home in light of the pandemic.
For example, last year, Indeed offered staff extra paid time off to combat work-from-home stress, while Google gave money towards their employees’ home office set-ups to promote better physical wellbeing.
While these initiatives will likely have had a positive impact on employee wellbeing, not all employers have the same budgets or resources to offer wellbeing support in the same way.
