Tracking employees’ movements has proven to be a topical point of discussion in the last year as many professionals have worked from home and continue to do so amid the coronavirus crisis.
In fact, data shared by the TUC last year found that one in seven employees stated that ‘intrusive tech’ has increased at work since the pandemic struck.
It shared that employers have started to invest in tech such as AI to keep an eye on their workers’ movements, meanwhile others have opted to use screenshot software to see what employees are doing during the working day.
Now, however, it seems that business leaders may be able to go one step further in their bid to track and analyse staff. A wearable tech firm has unveiled a new wristband that allows employers to monitor the physical health of the person wearing it.
