Maternity leave | Worker 'not invited' to virtual work Xmas party

With the festive period looking a little different in light of the coronavirus crisis, many firms are taking work Christmas parties virtual this year.

To help employees celebrate their professional achievements from 2020, research from Hire Space found that almost nine in ten UK firms are seeking virtual merriment this year.

While Christmas parties can be a good opportunity to get teams of staff together, one employee who is currently on maternity leave has claimed that she hasn’t been invited to the work virtual Xmas party.
