According to Lee Johnson, Director at Laws of Attraction, organisational and culture experts, success begins when the HR and corporate strategies are operating in tandem.
To ensure these strategies intertwine together to create value for both shareholders, business and people within the organisation, Johnson said that HR must focus on having a people-centric flexible strategy.
“It must have relationships at its heart and the ability to evolve consistently to support the corporate strategy. This, in turn, enables improved employee wellbeing and business performance is the differentiator for sustainable success in my personal opinion,” he added.
Whilst this sounds logical, the follow on would be: how can HR implement a strategy that is exactly what the business needs? Something that Johnson described as “arguably the most important aspect that a HR leader has to do, apart of course, from implementing the strategy.”
