With ‘lockdown 2.0’ upon England, many managers and leaders will be having concerns about their employee’s mental health.
To help manage this during this difficult period, HR Grapevine spoke to Jo Aidroos, EY UK&I Head of Leadership and Wellbeing to ensure this important topic is managed correctly…
HR Grapevine: What is good mental health?
Aidroos: When determining what good mental health is, I would always refer to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) definition which is ‘a state of wellbeing in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.’
