The impact that the coronavirus crisis has had on wellbeing has been widely covered throughout the pandemic.

In May, the Chief Executive of Mind, Paul Farmer, explained that immediate action was needed to support mental health services after the charity saw more than a million people download resources from its website within a few weeks – Metro reported.

Speaking to Sky News, he previously warned of an ‘emerging mental health crisis’ due to the lockdown period – possibly due to living and working in the same space, being separated from friends and family and the possibility of being placed on the furlough scheme.

At a time when so many employees have struggled to varying degrees, HR teams and employers quickly turned their attention to staff wellbeing.
