Diversity and inclusion is a hot topic in the workplace. Employers are increasingly savvy to the idea that a more diverse workforce breeds better creativity, better working environments and ultimately a better comprehension of the customer.

Aside from having huge business benefits, separate data has shown just how important workplace diversity is both to existing employees and prospective talent –  this can have knock-on effects to talent attraction, engagement and retention.

For example, previous Glassdoor data found that 67% of jobseekers consider workplace diversity to be an important factor when considering employment opportunities, while more than half of existing staff want their employer to boost D&I efforts.

New analysis from Willis Towers Watson has found that organisations with greater gender diversity in leadership roles create a more positive experience for all employees – which, of course, can have huge benefits for the business.
