Inclusion has been a contested subject during 2020. At first, as businesses pivoted to remote working and business survival, other issues topped the HR agenda. 

Then, or so it seemed, as the realities of changed working patterns set in, diversity became an issue sparking much conversation once again.

Not least because HR departments started to realise that the pandemic – from a health, work and life perspective – was impacting different employee groups in different ways.

However, one firm who has kept inclusion and equality, especially for LGBT+ employees, at the top of the business agenda is Zurich Insurance Group, the Swiss insurance firm.
