The current challenging climate in the world of work is putting to the test the skills of all leaders in the UK.

For perhaps the first time in decades for many, the threat of coronavirus, the ensuing economic downturn and lower interaction with clients and potential customers has forced leaders to gather their strengths and ultimately make decisions that will either save their business, or risk further inactivity and, eventually, closure.

But leaders aren’t without a distinct sense of self-doubt. When making decisions that potentially affect thousands of employees and customers, it’s natural to second-guess decisions and question if you’re making the right call.

This internal voice is often useful; without it, carelessness and arrogance would lead to mistakes and poor leadership – however, there are times when inactivity can prevail as a result of its presence. If the voice is too strong, how can any leader be sure that they’re able to forge the right path?
