Working during the coronavirus pandemic has been tough.
Numerous studies have shown that staff are missing work routines, face-to-face interactions with colleagues, missing family and friends and, in some instances, the commute to the office.
For those working remotely, it can be tempting to respond to the odd email over the weekend or complete some administrative work in front of the TV with the justification that ‘it will save me a job next week’.

Statistics from NordVPN found that, since UK businesses were forced into lockdown at the beginning of March, remote workers have been putting in two extra hours per day, which will likely result in a poor work-life balance if sustained over a long period of time.
