The coronavirus pandemic has caused a wealth of uncertainty for both employers and employees.

Some staff have been forced to take pay cuts, some have been laid off while others have been placed on furlough.

New research commissioned by Censuswide on behalf of KnowBe4 has found that almost seven in ten furloughed staff have admitted to checking their work emails during this period.

In addition, the data revealed that four in ten had actually responded to work emails during the furlough period.
