June is an important month for diversity.
Not only is it currently Pride Month – an annual event that gives the world a chance to stand with and celebrate those within the LGBTQ+ community – but due to current events in the US there is a reinvigorated conversation around racial inequality and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Whilst Executive Grapevine is not well placed to comment on this movement – one, that as a publishing outlet, we are also taking learnings from – it is prescient to ask, when important questions about structural inequality are being raised, again, about the experience of black and minority ethnic employees in the workplace.
