Less than half of the UK workforce say that they are satisfied with the communication they’ve had from their employer during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to new research from Barnett Waddingham.
Comparing how they felt before and after the pandemic, three fifths of employees were confident in their finances then, but now that figure has dropped to just over one third.
The report also found that furloughed workers have been hit the hardest by the pandemic, having experienced the greatest drop in their financial confidence from three fifths to under a quarter.
