The coronavirus pandemic has completely shaken up the world of work.

In response to the Government’s lockdown measures, the majority of UK workers are continuing to work from home to contain the spread of the virus. The likelihood is that these workers have been working remotely for a couple of months and productivity may be starting to wane.

Working from home used to be a ploy for those wanting to crack on with a hefty report with no interruptions. But, no one is currently facilitating this type of work under normal circumstances.

Workers need to have semi-flexible work schedules that allow them to support kids with remote schooling, that allow them to go food shopping at random times in the day to get hold of stock and that are considerate of others in the household who will be working from home too and may have work calls to attend. Every single person has a completely different schedule.
