A recent survey by the Royal College of Psychiatrists found that there has been a sharp rise in mental health urgent and emergency cases since lockdown began.

This rise can be attributed to a variety of factors – with many people losing a sense of purpose, feeling increasingly isolated, and experiencing the financial and health pressures of the pandemic.
